October 2, 2014 - A Web Conference was held on the new IHSDM 2014 Release (IHSDM 2014 Web Conference), focusing on the major enhancements/additions, including: Extension of Crash Prediction Module (CPM) Site-Based Data Input and Analysis capabilities to freeway ramps, collector-distributor (C-D) roads and ramp terminals; and extension of the IHSDM Calibration Utility to freeway ramps, C-D roads, and ramp terminals.


October 24, 2013 - A Web Conference was held on the new IHSDM 2013 Release (IHSDM 2013 Web Conference), focusing on the major enhancements/additions, including: crash prediction capabilities for freeway ramps/interchanges (including ramp segments, collector-distributor (C-D) roads, and ramp terminals) based on draft HSM Chapter 19 materials developed under NCHRP Project 17-45.


October 16, 2012 - A Web Conference was held on the new IHSDM 2012 Release (IHSDM 2012 Release Web Conference), focusing on the major enhancements/additions, including: a Beta version of crash prediction capabilities for mainline freeway segments based on draft HSM materials developed under NCHRP Project 17-45; and a new site-based data input and analysis capability for crash prediction.


October 19, 2011 - A Web Conference was held on the new IHSDM 2011 Release (IHSDM 2011 Release Web Conference), focusing on the major enhancements/additions, including: a new Calibration Utility for the Crash Prediction Module and the redesigned Intersection Editor.


March 17, 2011 - A Web Conference was held for the New Hampshire DOT (IHSDM 2010 Web Conference for NHDOT).


July 20, 2010 - A Web Conference was held for FHWA Federal Lands Division (FLD) staff, to provide an overview of IHSDM with a focus on the Crash Prediction Module and the expanded Design Consistency Module (which now includes models for both lower-speed and higher-speed highways). (IHSDM 2010 Web Conference for FHWA FLD Staff).


June 2, 2010 - A Web Conference was held for FHWA Resource Center staff to provide an overview of IHSDM and the upcoming IHSDM 2010 Release (IHSDM 2010 Web Conference for Resource Center Staff).


May 19, 2010 - A Web Conference on the upcoming IHSDM 2010 Release was held (IHSDM 2010 Release Web Conference), focusing on the major enhancements/additions, including: the Crash Prediction Module -- intended to be a faithful software implementation of Part C (Predictive Methods) of AASHTO's Highway Safety Manual, which provides crash prediction methodologies for two-lane rural highways, multilane rural highways and urban/suburban arterials; an expanded Design Consistency Module, which now accommodates both low- and high-speed facilities; and enhanced reporting capabilities. An overview and status of the Highway Safety Manual (HSM) was also provided. The HSM is scheduled to be published by AASHTO in June 2010. The IHSDM 2010 Release will be made publicly available in conjunction with the publication of the HSM.


September 18, 2009 - A Web Conference was held for the New York State Department of Transportation (IHSDM Web Conference for NYSDOT)


July 14, 2009 - The fifth IHSDM Web Conference (Crash Prediction Module for Highway Safety Manual Part C - Web Conference 5) was held.


June 19, 2009 - A Web Conference was held for the Nebraska Department of Roads (IHSDM Web Conference for NDOR)


March 12, 2009 - The fourth IHSDM Web Conference (2008 IHSDM - Web Conference 4) was held. The focus was on application of IHSDM in Road Safety Audits (RSA), with three case study applications presented by practitioners.


October 8, 2008 - The third IHSDM Web Conference (2008 IHSDM - Web Conference 3) was held. The agenda included a presentation and demonstration of the IHSDM 2008 Public Release software, including the newly added Driver/Vehicle Module (DVM) and enhanced reporting capabilities. An IHSDM application case study was presented by Pennsylvania State University.


May 20, 2008 - The second IHSDM Web Conference (IHSDM 2007 - Web Conference 2) was held. The agenda included a presentation of the relationship of IHSDM to the Transportation Research Board's efforts to develop a Highway Safety Manual [1] (HSM), an overview and status of the HSM, and on-going NCHRP projects to extend Crash Prediction capabilities of the IHSDM to support HSM Prediction Methodologies. Data needs related to the IHSDM Crash Prediction Module and the HSM Prediction Methodologies were discussed, and an IHSDM application case study presented.


February 14 and 19, 2008 - The first IHSDM Web Conference (IHSDM 2007 - Web Conference 1) was held. The primary topic was a presentation and demonstration of the IHSDM 2007 Public Release, with a case study to illustrate how this tool can be used to evaluate and improve the safety of a highway project.
