IHSDM 2007 - Web Conference 2

The second IHSDM Web Conference was held on May 20, 2008. The agenda included a presentation of the relationship of IHSDM to the Transportation Research Board's [1] efforts to develop a Highway Safety Manual [2] (HSM), an overview and status of the HSM, and on-going NCHRP projects to extend Crash Prediction capabilities of the IHSDM to support HSM Prediction Methodologies. Data needs related to the IHSDM Crash Prediction Module and the HSM Prediction Methodologies (Part C) were discussed, and an IHSDM application case study (Middle Fork Snoqualmie River Road, Snohomish Co., Washington) presented.
